A roundtable discussion with Isabel Capeloa Gil and Filipa Oliveira on Conviviality and the Institutional, a publication based on a conference of the same name held as part of a European cooperation project coordinated by the Universidade Católica and co-financed by the European Union’s Creative Europe programme 4Cs –From Conflict to Conviviality through Creativity and Culture. Like the conference, which took place in December 2017, the publication offers a view of a set of institutional practices undertaken with local communities facing various kinds of conflicts. The publication features contributions by Pedro Calado, Ilya Budraitskis, Jonas Staal, Katerina Gregos, Ariel Caine, Nina Power, Michaela Crimmin, João Ribas and Miguel Amado and a visual essay by Aimée Zito Lema with text by Ana Cristina Cachola, Daniela Agostinho and Luísa Santos.
