TiK TaK – Human Rights on Hold

In the urgent context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the main objective of this project is to make recommendations for the support of political action in favour of human rights based on the collection of life stories and available scientific evidence. The project also aims to monitor public policies from the perspective of the protection and promotion of human rights, mobilising and empowering NGOs and young people for this purpose and implementing awareness and advocacy campaigns. Documentaries, podcasts, infographics, webinars, an awareness campaign and a policy paper will be produced to support the integration of human rights into the policy-making process in the context of the measures taken to combat COVID-19 and in the post-pandemic context. TIK TAK (as in the sound of the clock) HUMAN RIGHTS ON HOLD seeks to remind us that human rights cannot be suspended or placed in quarantine.
