“Sowing of Affections” is a project that aims to minimise the loneliness and isolation of 150 elderly people (living in long-term care facilities or alone at home) by encouraging them to engage in activities through a creative sewing workshop and the subsequent creation of a social enterprise.
This initiative, which has already been tested in an NGO in the municipality of Santarém, aims to expand its reach and impact by creating a social brand (“Sowing of Affections”) and promoting its awareness and dissemination throughout the country.
