O Clube de Cinema de Campanhã

Using cinema as a tool to deconstruct stereotypes and emancipate and empower both society at large and individuals, the project “O Clube de Cinema de Campanhã” involves the creation of a cinema club with the aim of strengthening the democratic culture and civic awareness of the population living in the parish of Campanhã. The main component of the project will be the training of around 40 young people at socio-economic risk through active community participation involving formal and informal mediators. Sessions will also be organised at schools and in the community, with debates, workshops and other activities open to the community to increase the social engagement of locals with the territory.
