This project proposes (i) to educate teachers and young people about human rights and to promote activism as a way to act in society to defend and advance human rights; but also (ii) to influence public opinion and policies in order to promote processes of social change regarding discrimination, racism and hate speech. MEGAFONE DOS DIREITOS HUMANOS is thus a project of education, influence, and action for change. It will include workshops, training initiatives for young people, face-to-face and online exchanges with young Norwegians, and awareness campaigns. In terms of advocacy, there are plans to create an influential group composed of NGOs working in the area of human rights.
