Humano Festival_literacia democrática na comunidade

4Change, Cooperativa

Through a process of community involvement and empowerment and a focus on media literacy and cultural mediation, the “Humano Festival” project seeks to promote the human dimension in school culture and social cohesion in local communities. 120 young people aged 12 to 16 will become local agents of participatory democratic action, empowered through the use of dynamics such as life stories, theatre, film and other art practices. The process will culminate in an annual event – the Humano Festival – where young people’s actions and productions about democracy and human rights will be presented, in synergy with local partners and residents and alongside other cultural and social activities.
