DNA3 – Dinamização para a Ação no 3º Setor

Social economy entities have their own governance model, which combines the statutory dimension, assumed by the Board and internal decision-making processes, assumed by the operational component of organizations. These two levels come with different needs, but seek the same aim: management efficiency for greater sustainability of the organization and an increase in the quality of services provided to people with disabilities.

This project aims to promote the sustainability and quality of management of the Federation itself and its Associate members, through the improvement of its management, governance and accountability procedures.

Specific Aims:

  • Create a specific tool – a Guideline for Sustainability and a set of tools adapted to the reality of the Social Cooperative Sector able to promote good governance, management and innovation practices;
  • Disseminate the products that are created by the FENACERCI network associate members in general, and in particular, proceed with the empowerment of 8 CERCI´s in the areas of governance, management and innovation practices;
  • Promote an addressed operational vision towards sustainability among the FENACERCI associate members;
  • Empower FENACERCI in order to keep developing the products dissemination thought the remaining universe of social cooperatives, and to improve their empowerment process after the end of the project.
  • Empower FENACERCI in order to improve its global performance, through the development of an organizational diagnosis followed by an action plan adapted to the identified needs.
