Through illustration and creative writing activities, the (DES)AMOR project seeks to empower 30 women who have suffered from domestic and gender violence living in the municipality of São João da Pesqueira and/or surrounding localities. This includes a component to raise awareness among the general community regarding the problem of domestic and gender violence and the importance of identifying these cases and offering support.
