On September 1st, the Active Citizens Programme in Portugal will launch new calls to support Portuguese Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs).
Following the calls of 2018, 2019 and 2020 that resulted in the approval of 122 projects with a financial support of 8.1 million euros, the Programme opens four calls in the four outcomes of the Programme, with a global allocation of 1.85 million euros.
The projects to be submitted can have a total supportable cost between 20 000 and 75 000 euros and a maximum duration of 20 months.
A Q&A session, only in Portuguese, is scheduled for September 1st (in person, at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, in Lisbon, and also through digital platforms), and all participants will have the opportunity to ask questions directly to the Active Citizens Programme team. The Q&A session is followed by a workshop on filling out the application form with practical cases (in person only).
In addition, and with a view to guaranteeing the widest possible access to the calls, namely by NGO’s located outside the metropolitan areas of Lisbon and Porto, this session will be complemented with face-to-face workshops in the following cities and dates:
Ponta Delgada: September 3
Guimarães: September 6
Bragança: September 7
Funchal: September 10
Coimbra: September 14
Castelo Branco: September 15
Faro: September 21
Évora: September 22
