Active Citizens Fund at the Portugal Social Economy event
With an intervention on the panel entitled “Funded Training Programs”, in the scope of the Portugal Social Economy event, the director of the Active Citizens Fund in Portugal, Luís Madureira Pires, spoke about the capacity of NGOs as a priority of the ACF, underlining the special effort that will be made to favor the access of Portuguese NGOs outside the metropolitan areas of Lisbon and Porto and the projects of target groups with particular difficulties in accessing sources of public funding. Portugal Social Economy is a showroom for networking, interaction and shared experiences between different stakeholders in the civil society sector. In 2018, it took place at the Lisbon Congress Center, on 23 and 24 May.
