The purpose of Delli
In the courses at Universidade Lusófona, both the BA in Communication Design and the MA in Design, there is a continuous progression in the teaching-learning model. This progression occurs through practical experimentation, exchange between students and teachers and links with the communities in which design is inserted.
Design, as a field of study, is increasingly aligned with concerns about the future of contemporary societies. At Delli, especially through Delli Press, the aim is to encourage the dissemination of students’ learning, creations and projections into the public space. Delli Press. Publishing as a pedagogical tool
Delli Press is a distinctive publishing label. Although it is part of the academic context of Universidade Lusófona, it operates independently, promoting experimental and collaborative publications. Its main objective is to promote reflection, experimentation and creation through editorial production, and the strategy of its editorial practice includes the participation of students, teachers and external guests, many of them specialists who develop thematic workshops and events.
The publications are innovative and experimental, exploring relevant themes, always seeking to challenge the boundaries of traditional learning, with the ability to establish connections with communities outside the academic space, stimulating debates, exchanges of experiences and even the critical scrutiny of concepts and approaches.
