Irene Buarque (1943)
Irene Buarque's Pisolivro is the result of the artist's gaze that began to look at 'the floors where the feet' tread.
“After years of looking at the windows, I started to look at the ground, to register the floors on which my feet walked”, because “we carry in our feet the paths on which we walk”, says the artist. That is why it is necessary to “look where you walk”, because it is possible to “always find something that we can take or have a good visual sensation… a leaf, a stone, a drawing or even a lost object.”
