Individual tickets for the Gulbenkian Music Season can be purchased online from 18 June at 10:00, or in-person, at our box office, from 10 September at 10:00. Holders of the Cartão Gulbenkian Mais will have access to a pre-sale of individual tickets, on 17 June at 10:00.
Purchasing process
Online pre-sale – 17 June, 10:00
Holders of the Cartão Gulbenkian Mais have access to individual ticket sales one day before the general public.*
This version of the Cartão Gulbenkian also offers other benefits, such as a year of unlimited access to exhibitions, advanced ticket purchases for educational activities, exclusive programming, and much more.
On June 17, holders of the Cartão Gulbenkian Mais need to log in to the website in order to purchase tickets.
*Pre-sale of individual tickets will only be available in Stalls A and B.
Online sale – 18 June, 10:00
Avoid having to travel and buy your tickets at your convenience through our online box office, paying with total security using either MB Way or a credit card (Visa, Maestro or Mastercard).
After the purchase you will receive an email with your tickets, which you can print or present on your mobile phone when entering the hall.
In person sale – from 10 September, 10:00
The ticket office at the Foundation’s Main Building is open from Monday to Saturday, between 10:00 and 18:00. On concert days, it reopens one hour before the concert, exclusively to sell tickets for that day.
You can pay using cash, card (Visa, Maestro or Mastercard) or MB Way.
Frequently asked questions
I bought my tickets online and did not receive an email. What should I do?
We suggest that you check your spam, trash, or any second email inbox. If you do not find our email, this could be due to an authorization failure by the entity responsible for payment, often related to your card’s security procedures, so we suggest contacting your bank directly. If you still need assistance, you can contact as through this form.
Are there any discounts when purchasing individual tickets?
Yes. With the exception of the festival Jazz em Agosto, Sunday Concerts, Gulbenkian Choir and World Music cycles, the following discounts are available for all events of the Gulbenkian Music Season: 25% for people under 30 years old, and 10% for people over 65. For holders of the Cartão Gulbenkian Mais, these discounts are increased to 50% and 15%, respectively.
If a concert is cancelled or postponed, will I get a refund?
Yes. A full refund will be issued for all concerts that are either cancelled or postponed.
I bought tickets for a concert but I will not be able to attend. Is it possible to request a refund?
No. It is only possible to exchange your tickets for another concert in which the ticket price is either the same or higher. Refunds are only possible in case of cancelled or postponed concerts.
I have a Cartão Gulbenkian Mais but I can't see the 'Buy Ticket't button during the pre-sale day.
When the pre-sale opens (17 June at 10:00) you must be logged in with your account in order to see the "Buy Tickets" button.
Does the regular Cartão Gulbenkian (free version) allow access to the pre-sale of individual tickets?
No. Only the Cartão Gulbenkian Mais provides this benefit.
