Following a partnership that has already produced several recordings, the label Pentatone invited the Gulbenkian Choir and Orchestra to record Giuseppe Verdi’s Otello, under the direction of conductor Lawrence Foster. The recording sessions will happen between the 8^th and 17^th July in the Grand Auditorium of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, chosen because of its excellent acoustic characteristics that allow a recording with a unique sound quality.
