Patrick Eisinger was born in Romania, emigrated to Israel and has lived in Portugal for the last three decades. He studied with Rudolf Bloch, a direct descendent of Leopold Auer and Carl Flesch (grandmasters of the Austro-Hungarian pedagogy) in the Conservatories of Vienna and Budapest. He is a committed member of the Gulbenkian Orchestra and a renowned consultant in the audiophile world of Portugal and attempting, through these two passions, to attract new publics to the world of classical music. Patrick Eisinger has been a member of the Gulbenkian Orchestra viola group since 1988.
