Born in Tarragona, he graduated in Geography and History. He has performed on prominent Spanish and international opera stages (Barcelona, Madrid, Lisbon, Hamburg, Berlin, Palermo, Naples, Bologna, Florence, Turin, Athens, Venice, Paris, Orange, Toulouse, Limoges, Lausanne, Verona, Amsterdam, Miami and New York).

He has sung Il barbiere di Siviglia, La cenerentola, L’italiana in Algeri, L’elisir d’amore, Lucia di Lammermoor, Roberto Devereux, La favorita, Don Pasquale, Il duca d’Alba, Don Giovanni, Così fan tutte, Samson et Dalila, Werther, Carmen, Faust, Thaïs, Tannhäuser, Tristan und Isolde, Manon Lescaut, Le villi, Madama Butterfly, Il tabarro, La bohème, Manon Lescaut, Pagliacci, Cavalleria rusticana, Un ballo in maschera, Don Carlo, Aida, Il trovatore, La traviata, Attila, Otello, Macbeth, Nabucco, Falstaff, Simon Boccanegra, Tosca and Rigoletto. He has also appeared in numerous Spanish zarzuelas and operas such as Marina, El gato montés, Katiuska, La tabernera del puerto, La villana, El caserío, Entre Sevilla y Triana and Juan José.

He was awarded the Premio Lírico Teatro Campoamor 2012 for best Zarzuela performer for the Teatro de la Zarzuela’s production of El gato montés.

Recent performances include La traviata and Aida at the Liceu in Barcelona, Madama Butterfly in Valencia, Florencia en el Amazonas in Tenerife, Nabucco in Oviedo, Il trovatore in Palma, Cavalleria rusticana and Pagliacci in Helsinki.

His engagements this season are Tosca at the Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville, Il trovatore at the Liceu in Barcelona and La dolores in Oviedo and at Teatro de la Zarzuela in Madrid, among others.
