The early music collective Nasoni Ensemble performs a chamber music concert conceived in the context of the exhibition ‘Splendour in Venice. From Canaletto to Guardi’.
The concert features a group of works by Venetian composers of the baroque era, including trio sonatas of Vivaldi and Gallo, a Caldara chamber concerto for cello and Tartini’s ‘Devil’s Trill’. The soprano Joana Seara joins the ensemble to sing arias by Vivaldi and the baroque dance specialist Catarina Costa e Silva performs a choreography for Vivaldi’s ‘La Follia’.
