Pavel Gomziakov

After recording two Haydn Cello Concertos with the Gulbenkian Orchestra in 2015, Pavel Gomziakov will present a recital with pianist Andrei Korobeinikov. Entirely dedicated to Russian composers, the programme will be interpreted in the rare Stradivarius cello, one of the crown jewels from the collection of Museu Nacional da Música. Built in 1725 by Antonio Stradivari, this instrument belonged to king D. Luís I, and was classified as National Treasure in 2006.
