Based on a shared feeling, Músicos do Tejo extended an invitation to the Portuguese film director Pedro Costa to join them in a show combining music and film. “We focus a lot on past artists in our work”, explains the musical director Marcos Magalhães, “but we often find ourselves asking who today is producing such creative and ambitious works as the composers of the 17th and 18th centuries whom we so much admire.” From the answer to this question, this alliance was born.
