The concert at Vale do Silêncio has now gained popularity among the people of Lisbon, becoming an important cultural landmark in the city. On the 2nd edition of this project, which coproduced with EGEAC’s Lisboa na Rua festival, the Gulbenkian Orchestra and Choir interpreted some of the most iconic soundtracks in the history of cinema, under the direction of conductor Joana Carneiro, in a programme that was voted by the audience.
