Following the huge success of the performances of the Gulbenkian Choir and Orchestra as interpreters of some of the most notable soundtracks of world cinematography, the conductor Joana Carneiro will direct a programme devoted to the greatest examples of the relationship between music and cinema, in the magnificent setting of Vale do Silêncio. In a further participation in the festival “Lisboa na Rua”, the context in which the orchestra goes in search of less obvious stages and strengthens its presence in the pulse of the city, the big news is that, this time, the programme is chosen by the public.
