One of the most exciting names in the world of music in recent years, the Georgian Khatia Buniatishvili is made of a vortex suggested by the challenge that her mother set her as a child: every day, she left a new score on the piano, into which the young Khatia eagerly threw herself, keen to face new challenges. It is this same eagerness and impetuosity that has led audiences to go quite wild around the world, for her unrestrained dramatic style described by the Brazilian newspaper O Globo as “voluptuous virtuosity”.
