New visit from mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato at Gulbenkian Music in the company of the Il Pomo d’Oro orchestra. This new project gives voice to arias by Monteverdi, Gluck, Handel or Purcell. My Favorite Things denounces the singer’s personal choice, at a time when, according to the Financial Times, “the beauty and range of her voice are surely now at their impressive peak”.
