In 2016, with the support of Antena 2, Joana Gama dedicated herself to SATIE.150 – A celebration in the shape of an umbrella, which marked in Portugal the 150th anniversary of the birth of the French composer Erik Satie (1866-1925). In 2018, as part of the Pianissimo Festival, the pianist will perform Vexations, an enigmatic work by Erik Satie. Discovered posthumously, this creation consists of a score of a page with the indication Très Lent and with the following note from the author: “Pour se jouer 840 fois de suite ce motif, il sera bon de ​se préparer au préala​ble, et dans le plus grand silence, par des immobilités sérieuses “.
