Manuel de Falla

Suite from El Amor Brujo
Total approximate duration: 110 min.

A frequent and informed interpreter of Manuel de Falla’s music, Javier Perianes has spent many hours in the Spanish composer’s archives in Granada, deepening his knowledge and his connection to a fundamental oeuvre. Perianes has said: “Falla was very ‘French’ in his style, his music, and his inspiration – and yes, in his imagination.” Debussy was confessedly one of Falla’s greatest influences, and Perianes points to the dialogue between the two composers during his time at the Grand Auditorium.
