Vladimir Jurowski

As Principal Conductor of the London Philharmonic Orchestra since 2007, Vladimir Jurowski ascended brilliantly into the world of music, becoming one of the most sought-after conductors with the world’s great orchestras shortly after his 30th birthday. The son of the conductor Mikhail Jurowski, Vladimir was born in Moscow, but finished his training in Berlin. However, he does not hide the natural affinity he feels for Russian composers such as S. Rachmaninoff and D. Shostakovich, but his performances are equally inspired by the literature of L. Tolstoi and A. Pushkin, and the films of A. Tarkovsky.
