In recent years, the end of summer in Lisbon has been marked by the partnership between EGEAC/Municipality of Lisbon, with the regular collaboration of the Gulbenkian Orchestra for the performance of essential and popular pieces from the classical repertoire, in various locations in the city. This year, the orchestra will perform in the Gulbenkian Grand Auditorium in three concerts (September 11, 17 and 18). Two well-known pieces by Albinoni and Bach and the Violin Concerto that composer Felix Mendelssohn wrote at the age of 13 stand out in this program.
