Total approximate duration: 60 min / Concert without intermission

When she took on the role of Chief Conductor of the Gulbenkian Choir, Martina Batič expressed her desire to deepen her knowledge of the Portuguese choral repertoire and to devote special attention to it when putting together her programmes. In this second a cappella concert of the season, Batič once again fulfils this aim, inviting the Gulbenkian Music audience to listen to works by Duarte de Lobo, Luís de Freitas Branco, Fernando Lopes-Graça, Eurico Carrapatoso and Rui Paulo Teixeira, along with two pieces by Bach and Brahms.
