Location

Grand Auditorium Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation

For the eighth consecutive season, the Russian pianist Grigory Sokolov will give a recital in the Grand Auditorium. He is an example of an intense relationship developed with the Gulbenkian Foundation, and always creates the same effect of wonder and amazement. James Rhodes, in The Spectator, called him “the greatest living pianist” and no amount of repeated contact with the pianist prepares the audience for the great talent of an artist who believes that music is only entirely revealed in concert.
