Founded in 2015, Ensemble Sepidar is dedicated to the performance of Persian classical music according to the dastgāh tradition. The ensemble focuses on performing pieces within Persian musical systems and structures, including reinterpretations of works by various masters. Over the years, Sepidar’s repertoire has continued to grow and is conceived for each occasion, combining tradition with original compositions by its members Siavash Imani and Aria Mohafez, creating a balance between traditional repertoire and contemporary creation inspired by that same legacy.
