The perfect introduction to the world of orchestral music, Fantasia, by Walt Disney, maintains the same irresistible appeal in the relationship between animated cinema and some of the most brilliant music compositions of all times. It is said the film resulted from the fortuitous encounter between Walt Disney and conductor Leopold Stokowski at a restaurant, in 1937. However, history tells us that, before that, the animation wizard had already seen in Stokowski the ideal partner to undertake the ambitious mission of creating an outstanding and imaginative visual expression to match the pieces of Tchaikovsky, Bach, Beethoven or Stravinsky.
