Franz Liszt

Sonata in B minor, S.178

Duration: 105 minutes

Soon after winning the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels in 2010, Denis Kozhukhin entered the international circuit through the big door, conquering the most prestigious European theatres. He has cemented a reputation as a virtuoso and musically passionate musician, which comes through in each of his performances. Recordings of such distinguished composers as J. Haydn and Prokofiev have consolidated this deserved reputation. Kozhukhin, whose mentor is conductor Daniel Barenboim, now delves into the work of Franz Liszt, one of the most fascinating creators of the pianistic repertoire.
