The chance to hear Taborn play solo is an event in itself. The Brian Marsella Trio is led by the pianist whose name it bears, whose credits include the Banquet of the Spirits and Zion80 ensembles, and this line-up became popular with his recording of the Book of Angels, one of Zorn’s fundamental “books”.
