Under the direction of Inês Tavares Lopes, the Gulbenkian Choir returns to the Grand Auditorium to perform important works from the 20th century a cappella repertoire. The impressionist modernism and the devotional music expression of the Mass for Double Choir (1922-1926), by the Swiss composer Frank Martin, is set against the colorful textures of three inspired and ethereal pieces by the Estonian composer Arvo Pärt.
