It is Wenjing’s flagship piece, and will be played by Li Biao, one of the most talented and renowned of today’s Asian percussionists. In the second part, Muhai Tang will conduct Beethoven’s Eroica Symphony, in turn a testimony of an era of conflict and political and social change.
