sings Chico Buarque

After premièring his album Quinto in Gulbenkian Music in 2012, Antonio Zambujo returns to showcase a special disc in his career, comprising only songs by Chico Buarque. The connection between Zambujo and Brazilian music is already well-established, and he often performs in Brazil with his very particular brand of Fado with a taste of samba and bossa nova. The world, in fact, was awoken to Zambujo once and for all after Caetano Veloso wrote that “he is a young fado singer (…) who makes one think of João Gilberto” and “he sends a shiver down your spine and brings tears to the eye”.
