In the last two performances by Antonio Meneses at the Gulbenkian Foundation, the Brazilian cellist took to the stage as a member of the Beaux Arts Trio. Now returning to the Gulbenkian Orchestra as a soloist, we will have the opportunity to hear him performing the Cello Concerto that Shostakovich composed for the legendary Mstislav Rostropovich. These concerts are also the preparation for a Brazilian tour, always under the direction of Lawrence Foster.
