With her spiritual sonority, Anoushka Shankar, a singular figure in Indian classical music, brings a message of hope in times of darkness: “Everybody is engaged in some way in a search for their Land of Gold: a place of security, connectivity and tranquillity, that they might call home”, said the composer and sitar player who has received five Grammy Award nominations, and returns to the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation to close this Jardim de Verão program.
