A course dedicated to the Gulbenkian Music 25/26 season and to the great symphonic and chamber repertoire, from the Baroque to the 20th century, designed to deepen understanding and enjoyment of the music presented throughout the season.

This course is aimed at those interested in music, though not specialists, offering clear and accessible insights into musicology: its history, forms and genres, terminology and meanings, instruments, orchestral sections and organisation, notations, and the biographies of selected composers.

Each session will revolve around a theme inspired by concerts in the season, encouraging participants to attend.
