Aldina Duarte, with her extraordinary gift for the words, stories and melodies of traditional fado, has won a unique place in Portuguese music, which is proven by the lively and constant praise of the critics. It is the pleasure of narrating what poetry says and also what it conceals what Aldina will take to the stage of the Grand Auditorium, accompanied by the usual musicians, but also with the special participation of Carlão. The verses closest to Aldina’s love-sick mourning and her status as a woman, will be joined by the intimacy and fragility embraced by the former singer-songwriter and lyricist of Da Weasel.
