Art and Citizenship: Artistic and Pedagogical Practices

Event Slider

How do we respond to the needs and concerns of the world we live in? How can art and arts education provide meaningful responses in the field of citizenship?

Starting from the perspective of the transformative power of art and the idea of CAM as an active pedagogical space that responds to the world, this course explores how issues of human rights and social justice can be addressed from a critical, creative, and artistic standpoint, grounded in a relationship with artworks and artistic practices.

This course is aimed at teachers from various educational levels as well as other professionals working in education and dance.

Accredited course. It will be included in the National Arts Plan Academy portfolio and is in the process of accreditation by the João Soares Training Center. More information coming soon.
