This initiative, developed by Atelier POP-UP in partnership with the Art Library, is part of the collaborative project LILIPUT – Movement first “Murmúrio”, aimed at promoting photographic creation in Portugal through the production and dissemination of a series of 12 visual essays by distinct authors.

Each month, 150 copies of each postcard will be distributed in works from the Art Library’s collection. Each postcard includes the photographic image, the inscription “this collectible postcard is for you,” and a QR code, which, when scanned, will redirect to a webpage containing more information about the author and the project.

Ideally, the discovery and appropriation of these postcards by the reader may mark the beginning (or reinforcement) of the reader’s connection and involvement with contemporary photography. On the part of the Art Library, this initiative fulfills one of its most important missions: to serve as a platform for convergence, communication, and sharing between authors and readers.
