Collection of publications by Bruno Zhu available at the Art Library
In conjunction with Bruno Zhu’s exhibition entitled Belas Artes (Fine Arts), which CAM will open on February 28, the Art Library now holds a collection of publications from the artist that reflects his artistic practices over the last few years.
This set of publications consists mainly of exhibition catalogues and other documentation resulting from Bruno Zhu’s artistic residencies between 2013 and 2021. This collection includes a series of catalogues from exhibitions held by A Maior (2016-2023), an exhibition project mentored by Zhu, inviting artists to exhibit inside his parents’ clothing and homewares store in Viseu.
There are 103 publications in total, to which the artist has added a collection of ephemera, donated by him. A selection of the publications created as part of the exhibitions at A Maior will be on display in the Reading Room of the Art Library during the month of March.
Bruno Zhu (Porto, 1991) is a visual artist who lives and works between Amsterdam and Viseu. In terms of solo exhibitions, he has been exhibiting since 2013 in galleries and museums, both in Portugal and abroad.
