Portuguese baroque tiles

Photographs of figures of invitation in tiles produced to illustrate the book by Luísa de Orey Capucho Arruda.

Photographer Luís Pavão was responsible for the photographs in the book Azulejaria barroca portuguesa: figuras de convite (Portuguese Baroque tiles: invitation figures), published in 1993, written by Luísa Arruda.

The original images were supported by chromogenic slides, 9 x 12 cm, colour. In 2011, Luís Pavão digitally copied the originals and offered them to the Art Library.
