Lisbon’s tiles

Inventory of Lisbon’s façade and outdoor tiles from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

The work of inventorying the façade tiles was carried out by Teresa Saporiti and Ana Lopes de Almeida, with the financial support of the Fine Arts Department of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation between 1982 and 1991.

Teresa Saporiti and Ana Lopes de Almeida made an inventory of 3,011 buildings and produced 6,878 slide images.
