Catalogue des céramiques françaises

Conservées dans les collections de l’État portugais

Collection by Régine de Plinval de Guillebon, consisting of a book, unedited, and its illustrations.

The manuscript is devoted to French ceramics from the 18th to 20th centuries. It is a 500-sheet volume that includes bibliography and index of craftsmen’s marks.

The set of illustrations is composed of photographic proofs and negatives. The proofs form an album. They are numbered and captioned, pasted on cardboard sheets (32 x 24 cm). The numbering of the captions corresponds to the sequence of the numbering of the pieces in the book (numbering assigned in 1958 and revised in 1962).

The manuscript and the photographic specimens were produced with grants from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in 1958 and 1962.
