The Armenian Communities Department supports various cultural, educational, research and philanthropic projects that can have a positive impact on the Armenian world, be it in Armenia or in the Diaspora.

Project grants are open to all applicants (both individuals and organisations), regardless of nationality or country of implementation, as long as they pertain to Armenian themes and issues.

Projects submitted must, however, fall within the scope of the Department’s three priority areas:

• The Western Armenian Language.

• Cultural Creativity Support in Armenian.

• Research and Critical Engagement in Armenia.

General Rules

• All proposals must be submitted online through the Foundation’s online application submission system. Please do not send applications by email.
• The same applicant can only submit one proposal during a given application cycle. Multiple submissions do not increase the chances of a grant being given.
• Applicants must read the Requirements, Criteria and Conditions document before submitting a proposal. The Application Guidelines document is specifically prepared to help with the application submission process.
• All submission must include a budget.

Budget

Please note that budgets of proposals from the Americas must be in USD and budgets from the UK must be in GBP.

All other proposal budgets, including Armenia, Lebanon, and Turkey, must be submitted in EUR only.

Deadlines

The deadlines for the three project application cycles are:

30 April, 31 August, and 12 December.

The applications will be evaluated three times a year during the month that follows the deadline. The results will be communicated by the end of May, September, and January. The evaluation can take up to one month as announced. There is no need to inquire about a submission’s status as all applicants will be contacted in due course to be notified of the results.
