Brett Bourbon

Advisory Board

Brett Bourbon is Professor of English at the University of Dallas. He holds a PhD in English and American Literature from Harvard University and a BA in Intellectual History from Berkeley. A former faculty member at Stanford University, he also was Fulbright Visiting Professor at the University of Lisbon.

His research interests include the intersections of literature and philosophy, cognitive science, and the arts. He has authored several books, including Finding a Replacement for the Soul, Everyday Poetics, and, just recently, with Renita Muremi, Organized Skepticism in the Age of Misinformation: Surviving the Kingdom of Gossip.
