Fellowships 2026/27
These fellowships will support the work of world-class fellows for a limited period of time – typically between three and nine months – in an enjoyable intellectual environment with minimal regular obligations.

How to apply
Applicants to the 2026/27 fellowships should submit their applications individually, and include a curriculum vitae, a brief description of what they propose to do while at the GIAS, and the names of two referees.
Individual offers will be made from late January 2026.
Eligibility conditions
The GIAS will host international academics, but will also consider applications from emeriti, independent scholars, and artists. Applications in most non-laboratorial and non-experimental fields will be considered.
