Miguel Palma

Cemiterra-Geraterra

Sculpture project carried out by Miguel Palma at the Frias shipyard, Queluz, between November 1990 and March 1991 and offered at the time by the artist to the CAM Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian.

This piece arrived at the Foundation inside an iron casing, having immediately been buried in the garden opposite the CAM where it remained between 30 April 1991 and 4 July 2000, the date on which it was dug up and exhibited at the same spot until June 2005.
